What is The Local Secret?+
A three-hour visit with TRU Local Tours. We walk about 30 minutes out, spend about two hours there for photos and the view, then head back and finish around 1:00 PM. We do not publish the place name, a pin, or directions.
When do you go?+
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We do not run on Wednesday or Saturday. Book that day on the calendar.
How many people?+
Up to 20 people total.
Do you pick us up?+
No. We do not pick guests up, and there is no meeting lot. Need a ride? Answer yes when you book and we'll text you the ride link, or use the Add a ride button ($15 per person, not part of the $50). If you added a ride, it is waiting when we finish. Otherwise you make your own way onward.
What should we bring?+
Water, shoes you can walk in, and sun protection. We do not serve a meal.
Is this a long hike?+
No. About 30 minutes of walking each way, then about two hours at The Local Secret. Tell us about mobility needs when you book.
What about kids?+
Kids who can handle the walk are welcome. Note ages when you book.
What if it rains?+
Showers are normal. We go unless the weather is actually unsafe. If we cancel, you reschedule or get a full refund.
Cancellation?+
Full refund with 48 hours’ notice. Inside 48 hours the booking is final unless we have to cancel.
Will you text me?+
Only if you opt in. Marketing texts are optional — check the box in the chat widget. Booking does not sign you up. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
